Struggling With Fertility Issues?

If you are dealing with fertility issues, here are some ideas that could help to make becoming pregnant a little easier.

First, plan a visit to the gynecologist. Tell him or her about your plans to get pregnant. By taking a detailed history, they can determine if there will be any problems that might lower your chances of getting pregnant. Don’t leave out your husband’s medical history either. Any barriers to pregnancy can equally be due to him as well, so it’s important that you let the doctor know about both of you. If possible, your husband should consider attending this initial visit with you.

The doctor may advise you to lose weight if you are considered medically obese. Added weight can hinder your chances but not in the way that you might think. As long as your menstrual cycles are normal, there should be no issue. However, if you have irregular periods and you are considerably overweight, you may find this is one reason conceiving isn’t difficult for you.

Some overweight women experience hormonal imbalances as a result of the weight. If this imbalance varies the length and time of your cycle from the normal, this could be an issue. Overweight women are at risk for polycystic ovarian syndrome. Not enough female hormones are produced to mature your eggs for proper fertilization. Many women with this condition find they grow hair in places not normally found on women, such as their face, because of the increase in male hormones produced. The male hormone is necessary for conception, but not in high amounts from the mother.

Does your husband like to wear bikini briefs? You may want to buy him a package of boxers. Bikinis have been known to push the testicles closer to the body. In such a warm environment, sperm can be damaged. He may look sexy, but his sperm are paying the price.

Changing your chances of conception can be as simple as changing your diet too. This goes for both of you. Making a baby is a two-person process. Studies have shown that taking folic acid before getting pregnant and during pregnancy can reduce neural tube defects in newborns. A major source of folic acid is orange juice. It also provides a significant amount of Vitamin C which is helpful to your body whether you’re trying to have a baby or not.

How Do I Relieve Lower Back Pain

“What can I do to relieve lower back pain?” is a question asked by millions of people who have somehow hurt their back. This can come about because of any one of many reasons. For some, it can be a pretty serious condition that requires medical and professional attention. Some instances it will need surgery or at the very least quite a bit of medicine to help deal with the pain. This is not and should not be the case for most who are trying to find how to relieve lower back pain.

There are things that you can do to help relieve lower back pain and to help prevent it from happening again. This could be anything from learning how to rest your back to learning how to sit properly. It may be that drinking more water could remedy it. There may even be adjustments that you could make to the way you sleep that will help. Be sure, though, that there are things that you can do to relieve lower back pain that you should try. Following these suggestions may not only help bring relief but may help prevent you from needless pain in the future.

Learning how to rest your back will bring welcome relief to the stressed back. The best and simplest way to do this is by lying on your back with your head slightly raised and your legs bent and elevated. You can have either a pillow under your knees keeping a slight arch, or your calves and feet in a chair. You may have to lie like this for sometime to help give your back the rest it needs. Make sure that you get up to walk periodically, though, so that your back muscles don’t get too weak.

Sitting properly can also be a key way to relieve lower back pain. Sit with your hips back as far into the seat as they can go and a small pillow or something that can be put behind your lower back/lumbar area. This should result in your shoulders arching slightly back and your back forming a bowl shape. So this while sitting at your desk, on your commute to work or while at home watching television.

Your diet may have a lot to do with not only why your back hurts but on what could heal it and relieve lower back pain. First, you may be dealing with a bit of dehydration. Don’t wait until you feel thirsty to drink. If you wait that long, you may have waited too long. Dehydration can many times lead to back pain so hydrate your body with the best re-hydrator on earth…water.

One thing that you must not overlook is the way that you lay when you sleep. If you wake up with a stiff back, it could very well be due to the way that you sleep. The best position for you to sleep in is on your side with your head elevated and a pillow in between your knees. Sleep on a firm mattress as well as a softer bed may cause your spine to bend in not so helpful ways and may not give you the support you need to relieve lower back pain.
